Dear Shughart Elementary Families,
 

As we step into December, I want to take a moment to thank you for your continued support and partnership. Your involvement makes a tremendous difference in the success of our Pirate Scholars!
 

Please take some time this week to review assignments with your child to ensure everything has been completed and turned in. Staying on top of assignments now will help us finish the semester strong.
 

We’re excited to share that our Holiday Shoppe is open for business this week (December 1–5)! This is always a fun opportunity for students to spread holiday cheer. And mark your calendars—Mr. and Mrs. Claus will be visiting Shughart on December 18 to greet all of our scholars and bring some festive joy.

It’s hard to believe that after winter break, we’ll be halfway through the school year. Let’s embrace the heart of this season—gratitude, kindness, and community—and wrap up the second half of the year with all the energy and excitement December brings.
