DoDEA’s Information Centers

DoDEA’s Information Centers provide a diverse collection of books and digital resources that are aligned to the curriculum and fosters the love of reading. Students are encouraged to visit and check out materials during the school day. Digital resources can be accessed at school and from home.

The DoDEA School Library Information Center Program:

  • Provides access to print and non-print resource materials that are aligned to the DoDEA curriculum.
  • Facilitates library services and literacy programming that fosters a love of reading.
  • Defines the essential information literacy skills required for student achievement in the 21st century.
  • Collaborates with educators to design learning strategies and deliver instruction that meets the needs of the military child.

Information Resources and Databases

The Information Center has many databases that support research, independent learning, and inquiry. To access the databases outside of school, you will need a user name and password; please see your school information specialist for this information.
