Shughart Elementary recently hosted an exciting Fun Run to celebrate a successful first semester of Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS). The entire school community came together for this event, which highlighted the positive behaviors and achievements of our students.

The celebration kicked off with students enthusiastically cheering on staff members, who made a grand entrance in a variety of inflatable costumes. The anticipation built as the entire student body counted down together: "On your mark, get set, go!" With that, the race was on, and the inflatable costumes took off in a spirited dash to the finish line. Mrs. Green-Stephenson emerged victorious, crossing the line first while wearing an inflatable green lizard costume. Both students and staff cheered each other on, creating a memorable and fun-filled experience for everyone involved.

The Fun Run was a fantastic way to celebrate the positive impact of PBIS at Shughart Elementary. It was heartwarming to see the smiles and laughter shared by all, reinforcing the strong sense of community and support within our school. Here's to many more celebrations of positive behavior and school spirit!
