Shughart Elementary's Annual Fall Festival: Fun and Community
This year's annual fall festival at Shughart Elementary, organized by our PTA, was an absolute hit! Families enjoyed a wonderful evening filled with fun and laughter.
The festival featured a variety of games, including candy corn bowling, skeleton hand relay race, corn hole, mini golf, and pumpkin buckets. Two bounce houses added extra excitement, along with a cookie walk, basketball, and many more engaging games.
We were thrilled to have student volunteers from the National Junior Honor Society assisting with pumpkin painting and student volunteers from the Art Club helping with face painting. The music provided by Dr. Williams, who served as our DJ, kept everyone in singing and dancing throughout the event.
We would like to give a special thank you to our community partners, the USO, for generously giving out cotton candy, and Corvias, for their support in setting up and monitoring games. We want to give a great big shout-out to our amazing PTA for all their hard work in making this event a spectacular success.
