PreK students at Shughart Elementary recently showcased their learning with a fun-filled Fashion Show for family and friends. This event marked the culmination of a month-long exploration of the world of clothing, where our youngest learners discovered the importance of fashion in everyday life.
Throughout the unit, our PreK students explored the many aspects of fashion and clothing. They learned about how clothes are made, the importance of taking care of clothing, and the various designs and patterns that make each outfit unique. They even explored how different careers, cultures, and seasons influence the clothing people wear.
The Fashion Show was the perfect way to celebrate their new knowledge. As the students strutted across the stage, each one wore their favorite outfit, proudly modeling for the audience. Teachers added a personal touch by reading out descriptions of each student's chosen outfit, sharing details about the inspiration behind the look, and highlighting what made it special.
The PreK Fashion Show was a delightful mix of creativity, and learning, by giving our students a chance to shine while showing off all they had learned in a playful and exciting way. We are so proud of our little models and can’t wait to see how they continue to grow and express themselves in the future!
